UPDATE: 4 Suspects Arrested in Northridge Shooting
UPDATE | Dec. 04, 2012 4:22 P.M. PST: Police Chief Charlie Beck announced Tuesday that four suspects have been arrested in connection with the shooting in Northridge. The four suspects were arrested in Las Vegas.
Mayor Villarigosa expressed his condolences to the families before introducing Chief Beck.
He discussed the immediacy of the homicide division who worked quickly to solve the case along with the FBI. The suspects were tracked to the Silverton Casino Hotel in Las Vegas.
The four suspects are all in their thirties and are residents of Los Angeles. Ka Pasasouk, 31, is expected to be charged with murder. Howard Alcantara, 30, is expected to be charged with robbery and aiding a felon. Donna Rabulan, 30, and Christina Neal, 31, are expected to be charged with aiding a felon.
"This is one of the worst and heinous crimes we've seen in this community," Councilman Mitch Englander said. "The public can rest assured that we've got one of the best police departments in the nation and it is one of the safest large cities in America."
Original Story| Dec. 04, 2012 12:37 P.M. PST: The Los Angeles Police Department will hold a press conference Tuesday to give more information about an arrest that could be correlated to last weekend's slaying.
Police entered a two-story home in the 17400 block of Devonshire St. early Sunday morning to find four people dead in the side yard. At 4:30 a.m., neighbors reported gunshots and screaming, said police.
The two female victims appeared to be in their 20s, while one man was in his 30s and the other man in his 40s, according to LAPD Officer Cleon Joseph. The coroner's office has not yet released their names.
Reports are saying police arrested a suspect who could be responsible for the slaying of the women and men.
