Glass Shards Found in Lean Cuisine

Lean Cuisine recalled ravioli after glass was found in food.

Nestle Prepared Foods Company has recalled Lean Cuisine mushroom ravioli Tuesday after consumers reported finding glass shards in the food.

The product is known specifically as Culinary Collection Mushroom Mezzaluna Ravioli and was distributed nationwide in November.

According to officials, no one has reported injuries or illnesses.

All of the affected ravioli has a "best before" date of December 2013.

This is not the first time Lean Cuisine has recalled something.

In 2008, Nestle recalled certain Lean Cuisine entrees after chunks of blue plastic were found in the food.

A similar Lean Cuisine recall in 2011 was due to red plastic found in certain meals.
