Garcetti Speaks About Revitalizing LA
Mayoral candidate Eric Garcetti spoke at the Universal City-North Hollywood Chamber of Commerce Networking Breakfast on Tuesday morning about how he plans to create jobs and revitalize the city.
The breakfast was held at the Daily Grill in Studio City.
Garcetti discussed his plans for the city if he were to be elected, as well as what the city can do to aid small businesses.
"The core of this campaign will be about who has actually produced results in job creation, in the basics of neighborhood turnaround and making the tough calls in tough moments," Garcetti said in Tuesday's press conference.
Job creation is one of Garcetti's main focuses for Los Angeles, as shown on his website which states, "Eric will lead an agenda to grow our strengths like small business, manufacturing, trade, tourism, entertainment and health care, and to prepare L.A. for the jobs of tomorrow in technology and clean energy."
Garcetti will run against candidate Wendy Greuel in a mayoral runoff this May.
