UPDATE: USC Shooting Suspect Heads to Felony Arraignment
Update: March 13, 1:45 p.m. - There is sufficient evidence for USC shooting suspect Brandon Spencer to be formally charged, a judge ruled Wednesday morning at the Los Angles County Superior Courthouse. Spencer, 21, will appear in court department 115 on March 28 for felony arraignment, according to the court clerk. The preliminary hearing concluded Wednesday morning. According to the clerk, there was "extensive" witness testimony presented during the hearing.

A preliminary hearing will be held Tuesday afternoon for twenty-year-old Brandon Spencer, who was accused of shooting four people on Halloween on the University of Southern California's campus.
The hearing is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. at the Criminal Courts building downtown, and Spencer is being charged with attempted murder.
If convicted, he faces life in prison.
Spencer, who worked as a security guard, allegedly opened fire at the Tutor Campus Center outside of a party co-sponsored by the Black Student Assembly and the event planning company LA Hype.
Spencer and former Crenshaw High School football star Geno Hall, neither of whom are USC students, were reportedly arguing outside the party when Spencer pulled out a handgun and shot Hall, wounding him and three bystanders, said Capt. David Carlisle of the USC Department of Public Safety.
The two men were detained at the scene, said LAPD Cmdr. Bob Green.
Hall was shot several times and suffered the most serious wounds, according to his father. He underwent a three-hour surgery.
The shooting forced the campus into a nearly three-hour lockdown.
The shooting has ultimately augmented on-campus security. As of Jan. 14, the campus is closed to non-students at night for the first time in the school's history.
