"Food Tastes Better on a Stick"
Deep-fried Oreos, deep-fried bacon-wrapped pickles, and deep-fried Kool Aid fill the stomachs of Fair-goers every year. Some hope to walk off the calories they gain from consuming these deep-fried delicacies.
"There's a lot of good food out here," said Gerald Smith, the manager of fried food stand Chicken Charlies. He says people are here to try unique things most people can't try anywhere else.
Food Science Professor Roger Clemens says it's all about moderation. "Go out and have fun, enjoy. It's a party!" said Clemens.
