USC Annenberg Hosts Journalism Conference
USC journalists have a chance to jump start their carrers at this week's Journalism Opportunities Conference. USC Annenberg and the California Chicano News Media Association sponsor the 35th edition of the conference which brings journalism professionals from accross southern California to meet students and help them develop the skills needed to land a job after graduation. Students are also able to get the ball rolling and interview for jobs and internships at the conference and receive valuable professional experience. The Associated Press, KABC-TV, KTLA-TV and NBCUniversal were a few of the companies that came to the event this year. The conference is happening Thursday and Friday October 24th and 25th at the USC Davidson Conference Center. Students from all schools and majors are invited to attend.
