Trader Joe's Recalls Salads And Sandwiches

A recent outbreak of E. coli that has left several people sick has forced a recall by the company.

More than 26 people from have been sickened by an E. Coli outbreak and officials have initiated a recall of salads and sandwiches at Trader Joe's, asking buyers to toss those out.

A recent customer update from Trader Joe's website that was published November 10th has stated that over eight states including California and Arizona, have been affected by the food-borne organism that is known to cause illness. 

Some of the specific salads sold in California are the Trader Jose's Mexicali Brand Salad as well as Trader Joe's Field Fresh Chopped Salad with Grilled Chicken.

Officials from the company assure customers that the recalled items have been removed from the stores and ask customers that have already purchased the recall items to throw them out or visit their local stores to receive a full refund.
