Winter Storms Cause Flight Cancellations

More than 28 flights were cancelled.

Those looking to fly from Los Angeles to the eastern part of the United States had to enjoy the California sunshine for a bit longer after more than 28 flights were cancelled on Wednesday.

The snow storm tackling the Southeast forced some airlines to cancel flights to Atlanta early Wednesday morning.

Flights to Raleigh and Charlotte were also cancelled because of the 10 inches of snow expected in the area.

In Georgia, thousands of people were without power. Up to three-quarters of an inch of ice was expected to accumulate in Atlanta.
