Friends Say USC Grad was on Missing Malaysian Flight

Friends say Qiao Xing,also known as Joy Xing, was on board Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing. The jet went missing last Saturday.

The Chinese Students and Scholars of USC released a statement on Facebook asking its members to pray for the safe return of Qiao Xing and the other 238 passengers.

Qiao Xing graduated from USC with a Masters in Petroleum Engineering in 2012.

Xing worked at USC Bookstore as a cashier and was a customer representative for USC Housing, according to her LinkedIn profile. Her most recent job was a Reservoir Engineer for Shell Oil Company.
