RadioShack To Close Stores Across The U.S.

RadioShack announced Tuesday its plans to close more than 1,000 of its stores.
The closures would still leave RadioShack with about 4,000 U.S. stores, said CEO Joseph Magnacca
The company did not immediately report which stores will be closed or the number of jobs that will be affected. The Los Angeles area has 70 Radio Shack locations.
When local shoppers were asked about their reaction to the many closures, some said that they wouldn't be affected by the change.
On the other hand, one woman shopper acknowledged that she did do some of her electronic shopping at RadioShack. She also said that she is familiar with the store and its many electronic products.
