Grammy Museum Partners with USC
Students and faculty gathered outside the Thornton School of Music Thursday to officially welcome the Grammy Museum into the Trojan family
This partnership will give USC access to the Grammy Museum for educational purposes, research programs, internships, professional development seminars, and project-based learning.
USC is the first school the museum has ever partnered with.
"USC Thornton and the Grammy Museum have been working together for some time now, and it is great to formalize our partnership with the new affiliate program," said Robert Cutietta, dean of the USC Thornton School of Music. "We look forward to seeing this relationship grow in the future."
Brett Fromson, a student at USC's Thorntin School of Music Popular Music Program performed at the event, which was held in the Flora L. Thornton Courtyard.
Although the partnership will give Thornton students access to facilities, all USC students and faculty will be able to take advantage of some of the perks.
