Metro Bus Shot Near USC
CORRECTION: An earlier version of this story said the bus was parked near the intersection of Vermont Avenue and Figueroa Street. It was parked at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Figueroa Street.
A Los Angeles Metropolitan Transportation Authority bus was hit by gunfire a few blocks from USC Tuesday afternoon, according to Metro Spokesman Paul Gonzalez.
The bus was driving east on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard near Vermont Avenue.
No one was injured in the shooting.
The bus was parked near the intersection of Martin Luther King J.r Boulevard and Figueroa Street while sheriff’s deputies investigate the attack, he said.
The search for the person(s) responsible for the shooting is ongoing.
