Conquest Headliners Announced

Big Boi from OutKast and Phantogram will be shaking the stage at McCarthy Quad Thursday night at Conquest 2014. 

Rumors were speculating as to who would be headlining the concert event that highlights the rivalry between USC and UCLA. 

Conquest is an annual tradition at USC; a concert and carnival that takes place in McCarthy Quad prior to the big rivalry game.

The Troy Tones, C3, Underscore Acapella and the USC Competition Cheer are also scheduled to appear along with many food vendors such as The Lime Truck, Kogi, Waffles de Liege, Coolhaus, The Grilled Cheese Truck and The Boba Truck.  

The USC Concerts Committee ended the rumors Thursday by confirming through their Facebook page the names of the headliners. 

Conquest takes place at 7 p.m., the concert at 9 p.m. and students with a USC ID are allowed in for free. Alumni and guests are permitted in with a government issued ID.
