'Tis The Season To Be Studying

It's that time of year again! And we're not talking about the holidays. ATVN's Mark Love has some relaxation tips for stressed out students.

‘Tis the season! The season of stress, that is. Finals are upon us, and this only means one thing: students are managing a calendar looming with finals, assignments, readings, and group projects. USC students, though, are masters at managing this busy season.

“I have a lot of time still until finals hit for me. It’s my seventh time doing finals so I feel like I have a pretty good regimen down, and I have a job lined up for next year, so I just got to pass,” said Ben Badower, a USC senior. “I like to have lists of things that I want to get done to study and pound ‘em out one by one.”

Badower also credits that dependable cup-of-joe. “Realize that it’s not the end of the world, 30,000 other students at USC are all going through the same thing – you’re going to be okay.”

USC sophomore, Samantha Doctrow, likes to remind her friends to take some time for self-care during this busy season.

“When I’m stressed I go through a pretty typical routine. Go to the gym, make a green smoothie, look up pictures on the Internet that make me laugh, watch vines and listen to the Beatles,” she said.

“Just remember to manage your time really well and don’t get too stressed,” Doctrow says.
