USC Student Hit By FedEx Truck Near the Row
LAPD confirmed to ATVN that one male USC student was hit by a FedEx truck close to the intersection of University and 28th St. around 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday night. Multiple USC students told ATVN they saw a man being put into an ambulance.
The USC Department of Public Safety's Deputy Chief David Carlisle confirmed to ATVN's McKenna Keil that the student was transported to California Hospital, but could not provide an update on the student's condition citing privacy laws.
Sergeant Pablo Ayala of DPS said it was a traffic accident involving a "vehicle and a pedestrian with injuries." LAPD will be investigating the collision. ATVN will continue to update this developing story.
