USC Student Presents to the United Nations

A USC student presented to the United Nations Monday on issues in climate change.

Harleen Marwah '15 is part of an organization that works with UN climate change negotiations. Delegates on the committee, like Harleen, work together to educate themselves and their communities about international climate policy. 

She spoke to the UN today about the connection between climate change and global health. One initiative Marwah was part of with the delegation was starting the Climate Selfie Project, which invites young people around the world to submit photos with the hashtag "#ClimateSelfie."

Photos will be broadcast live at the UN Convention.
