Giving Up The Grass

The California drought has inspired some residents to try different landscaping. ATVN's Tori Youngblood reports.

California has been in a drought for more than a decade, and this has inspired some Los Angeles residents to change their yards to be more drought-friendly.

The landscaping company, Turf Terminators, provides its services free of charge to residents who wish to conserve water. In California, residents who take water conservation measures, can receive rebates from the state. In exchange for these rebates, the company will install a dry irrigation system, and replace grass with crushed rocks and arid plants.
