Torrance Refinery Explosion

Three Exxon Mobil workers in Torrance were injured Wednesday morning when one of the refinery's gasoline processing units exploded.

A small ground fire brokeout following the explosion, but fire crews were able to put it out shortly after.

The workers involved in the incident sustained only minor injuries.

Officials still don't know what the cause of the blast was, but an investigation is underway.
