The manuscript to Don McLean's hit single "American Pie" was auctioned off to an anonymous bidder for 1.2 million dollars today. The 16-page manuscript shows McClean's process in generating the lyrics to the 1972 hit. The auction took place at Christie's where the bidding began at $500,000 dollars but rose to 1.2 million in four minutes.

If going to Coachella is not on your calender this year, you still have a chance to listen to music from home. Sirius XM will be radio broadcast performances from both weekends to music listeners on multiple channels. Students shared their thoughts on this new option. The first streaming will begin this Friday on Sirius XM's ALT Nation channel 36 at 2 p.m.
