Nikias Speaks Out About Racism At USC

President Max Nikias discusses what he and the university plan on doing to combat racism on campus. Watch the exclusive interview here.

USC is considering actions they can take to help address issues of racism on campus following last weekend's incident involving racial slurs directed at Student Body president Rini Sampath, according to university President Max Nikias.

Nikias said Vice Provost of Student Affairs Ainsley Carry and Dean of Religious Life Varon Soni are already discussing ways to help educate students and increase tollerance across campus. He also explained that he met with Sampath for thirty minutes, where the two discussed ways the university can combat racial intolerance on campus.

He concluded by explaining that there was no room at USC for actions like those committed against Sampath.
