USC Alum Dies In Extreme Sports Accident

USC alum Johnny Strange dies at 23.

USC graduate Johnny Strange died in an wingsuit accident this morning, according to close friends.

Strange was a world-record holder and an extreme sports aficionado. Friends of the adventurer say he was in Switzerland shooting a video capturing his dangerous wingsuit jump when he died.

Strange described the jump on Monday on a KROQ radio show with "Kevin and Bean," saying he would be "flying super close to stuff."

Among many other accomplishments, this Malibu native is famed for climbing the world's seven highest summits by the time he was 17.

Strange was also a beloved member of USC's Sigma Chi fraternity.
