Web Registration Delay Has USC Students Frustrated

USC students have 99 problems and web reigistration is just one more. Web registration for all USC students was supposed to begin today, but beacuse of a technical issue, students will now have to wait until next week.

Fall 2015 is coming to a close and for USC students that means it’s registration time. These next few weeks can be stressful enough on students who are trying to find classes for next semester and finalize their schedules for their spring. Unfortunately for them, the worst thing that could have happened during this period did. USC's web registration system is down, and all registration will be postponed until November 2nd.

Students received an email last night that they would not be able to register for classes until web registration was available for use, and that  would not be until next week. In the email students also received a new registration appointment schedule to follow. Many USC students felt that they were left with more questions than answers and that the email sent by the school was not specific enough.

Frank Chang, University registrar, said that personnel from the student information system the university’s I.T. department are working hard to find out what was the problem occurred in the system, so that this type of technical issue will not happen again.
