Class of 2004, Bachelor's

I truly love my job. Growing up, I always had an interest in television news. I landed my first job in journalism when I was 12-years-old, working as a paperboy for the Montreal Gazette.

I was born in Washington, D.C., raised in Montreal, Canada and then moved to Los Angeles. I graduated from the University of Southern California (GO TROJANS!) in 2004 receiving a degree in Broadcast Journalism, with a minor in International Relations. I speak French fluently. As a full-time student, I worked as many as three jobs at a time to help pay my way through university.

While in college I worked for KABC-TV in Los Angeles, behind-the-scenes, taking part in major productions such as the Emmy’s and the Oscars. I also interned at CNN’s L.A. Bureau. Anderson 360 and Larry King Live are just a couple of the shows I helped produce.

In January of 2005, I accepted my first job as a reporter and anchor with WALA FOX 10 News. The station covered Mobile, Alabama and parts of Florida’s Panhandle. That’s where I got my first taste of a hurricane and was awarded an Edward R. Murrow Award for my coverage of Hurricane Katrina, in addition to other honors.

From Alabama I moved to South Beach, where I worked as a reporter for the FOX affiliate WSVN Channel 7 in Miami.

I enjoy the beach, theme parks, sports (especially Trojans football), movies, working out, eating, spending time with my Mom and meeting new people.
