Maria Cavassuto

Class of 2016



Maria was born in Buenos Aires and moved to Massachusetts when she was three years old. She moved to Mexico at an early age and spent 10 years there before attending USC, where she received a B.A. in Psychology. After graduating, she worked as an actor in Los Angeles exploring the many facets of the entertainment industry. Maria has contributed to several high-profile blogs including Career Contessa and Dancing Astronaut before switching over to co-host the Drop TV. Her passion for hosting and interviewing led her to pursue a career in journalism. She is an M.S. in Journalism candidate at USC's Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism.
