Claire Pires covers Washington Heights. A Washington, D.C., native, she earned a bachelor’s in theatre at the University of Southern California, where she created and co-hosted “Coastin’ with Conrad & Claire” on KXSC  radio and co-hosted “The Daily SCene” on USC TV. She was a reporter and editor for USC’s Annenberg TV News and produced feature stories for Annenberg Radio News. She  interned at PMK*BNC, Good Housekeeping, NBCUniversal and E! News.  She hopes to work in broadcast journalism.
