David Foley

Class of 2008, Bachelor's

 Associate Broadcaster / Video Coordinator

The 2011-12 season will mark David’s second with the Gladiators. Last season he was the Media Relations/Broadcasting assistant, handling the road broadcasts and various other media responsibilities. This season he will again be covering all the road games, and will also be the Video Services Coordinator for the Gladiators.

David started his career in professional sports in 2009-10 as a Media Relations/Broadcasting intern with the back-to-back South Atlantic League Champion Lakewood BlueClaws (Single A baseball- Philadelphia Phillies).

A Doylestown, PA native, he graduated from the University of Southern California majoring in Broadcast Journalism with a Communications minor and is a loyal Trojan supporter and Philly sports fan (he did not, however, throw batteries at J.D. Drew or snowballs at Santa Claus.)  Some of his favorite sports memories were witnessing Wayne Gretzky’s record-setting 802nd career goal while with the Los Angeles Kings, being in Florida for USC’s 55-19 thrashing of the Oklahoma Sooners in the 2005 BCS Championship Game, and jumping on the bandwagon to see the Philadelphia Phillies win the World Series in 2008.
