JJ Maldonado is a native of Lathrop, Calif. He completed his bachelor's degree in Theatre from California State University, Long Beach in 2008. In addition to working at ATVN he works at Annenberg Radio News and the Disneyland Resort. He is a first year graduate student at Annenberg's School for Communication & Journalism.
