Jacqueline Sarkissian joined the CBS 19 News team as a reporter in March 2015. Jacqueline is from Southern California, and she's excited to now call East Texas home.

She graduated with honors from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from the Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism.

While at USC, Jacqueline served as a Multimedia Journalist, Reporter, and Weather Anchor for Annenberg TV News, USC's student-run live 6 p.m. newscast. She also produced weekly music segments titled “Jammin' with Jacqueline,” which showcased up-and-coming artists in LA pursuing a music career.

She was a co-captain of the USC Song Girls her senior year. The Song Girls are primarily a dance team that perform and appear at all sporting events in addition to rallies and university and alumni functions.

Her team made many media appearances including KTLA 5 Morning News and Good Morning America. Jacqueline was also featured on FOX Sports West “Runnin' with PAC.”

Jacqueline is an entertainment news junkie and interned at an entertainment company called Rumor fix in Los Angeles. She wrote articles for the website and attended numerous red carpet events. She was also a reporter for “This Week in Torrance” and “Spotlight in Torrance” at Torrance CitiCABLE 3. Before moving to Texas, she worked at the assignment desk at KTLA 5 in Los Angeles.

Jacqueline is Armenian and very proud of it! She is family oriented and enjoys spending time with family and friends. As a California girl, Jacqueline loves going to the beach and Catalina Island. She is also a hot yoga yogi…Namaste!
