

Lillian Ma is a senior double majoring Broadcast Journalism and Communication at Annenberg. Before becoming a producer at ATVN, she has worked as an assignment desk editor, graphic artist, and multi-media journalist at the station.
Ma is currently a freelancer for the LA18 Evening News, the most watched Chinese newscast in Southern California. Ma started her journalism career as a contributor to a community-based news website called the Alhambra Source. She then interned at the Metan Development Group, a multi-media company that focused on bringing Western entertainment content to China. She was part of the production team of Hello! Hollywood, a weekly entertainment news show that gave Chinese audiences the lasted updates of American popular culture.
Ma was born in Taipei, Taiwan and raised in Shanghai, China. She came to Los Angeles in the fall of 2009 to pursue her college education. She aspires to enter the professional media world upon graduation. Her ultimate goal is to become a television news reporter or producer.
When not working, Ma could be found exploring the Los Angeles food scene. She enjoys musicals and is an avid fan of everything Disney. She loves traveling and is constantly seeking new experiences.
