Darreus Rogers: "It comes down to the players"
The USC Football team capped off their 2015 season with a tough loss to the University of Wisconsin on Wednesday night suffering a 23-21 loss at the Holiday Bowl. The Badgers took the lead late in the fourth quarter after scoring their third field goal of the night and the Trojans could not rally together to prevent the upset.
On fourth and ten with just 7 seconds left in the game, quarterback Cody Kessler threw a short incomplete pass to receiver Darreus Rogers. Post-game head coach Clay Helton noted that the play was meant to be an end zone hail mary pass, but was changed by Kessler pre-snap.
After the game Rogers took the time to discuss the bizarre ending to the Trojan season. The junior wide receiever also looked forward to the program's future, reflecting on the growth and development of the USC team in the upcoming season.
