Students Plan to #OccupyColleges in LA

College students are expected to walk out of classes at 12 p.m. on Wednesday.

As "Occupy Wall Street" and "Occupy LA" continues to grow, another similar movement is urging college students to take a stand against Wall Street.

At noon on Wednesday, students are urged by "Occupy Colleges" to walk out of class across the nation.

This list of colleges participating is 75 schools long. In Los Angeles, Santa Monica College, UCLA and Cal State Long Beach are expected to join.

Occupy Colleges, is on Twitter and is using the hashtag #OccupyColleges to provide update on walk outs across the country.

Their website explains why they organizers believe college students need to join the "Occupy" movement.

"Simply put, College Students don’t have lobbyist," the organization posted. "Money is access to politicians in the United States and College students are known not to have money. We have no access!"
