LA Sports Arena to Hold Largest Free Clinic in California

The Los Angeles Sports Arena will hold the largest free health clinic in the state this week.

Uninsured people showed up Monday morning on a first-come first-serve basis and were given wristbands determining the type of care they will receive.

The free clinic will run from Thursday through Sunday.

Volunteers at the event, like Erma Hall-Wood, hope to also educate people on health and wellness at the four-day-long clinic.

Many patients who received wristbands, like Jackson Chaker, were relieved because this was their only opportunity to receive care.
