Men's Water Polo Seek Sixth Straight National Championship
The USC men's water polo team is looking to capture its sixth NCAA title this weekend in Palo Alto, Calif. After a powerful run in MPSF tournament the Trojans will be entering the NCAA Championship Tournament as the number one seed.
USC will play in the National Semi-Finals on Saturday at the Stanford Avery Aquatic Center and will face St. Francis. USC enters the tournament 26-4 overall and 5-3 in the conference. USC has had success on the road posting a record of 4-2. The Trojans had been ranked No. 1 from Nov. 9, 2011 through Sept. 25, 2013.
Sixth years ago the Trojans began their historic run with their undefeated run to the 2008 NCAA Championships. Now the five-time defending NCAA champions look to make history.
