USC Men's Basketball Falls To UCLA 83-73

USC was swept by cross-town rival UCLA despite a strong performance by Byron Wesley who scored 27 points for the Trojans.

UCLA completes its season sweep of USC defeating them 83-73 Saturday night at the Galen Center. Despite a 9-4 start to the season, the Trojans have now lost four in a row and nine of their last 10 games.

Byron Wesley led the Trojans with 27 points, eight rebounds and four assists, while Bruins' Kyle Anderson had 15 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists in the win. Despite a 10-0 run to begin the second half USC couldn't retain the lead.

UCLA has now beat USC for the seventh time in the last eight meetings. This was the first time that both USC and UCLA began the regular season with new head coaches since the 1979-1980 season.

USC falls to 10-13 on the season and 1-9 in Pac-12 play. USC will look to rebound Thursday night at home versus Utah.
