USC Women's Golf Wins Home Tournament

The USC women's golf team is off to a strong start this 2014 season. The Women of Troy is ranked number one, and began the year winning at the Northrup Grumman Regional Invitational.
The Women of Troy set a school record with eight consecutive wins, while sophomore Annie Park recorded her first win of the year. USC started their final round with a 14 stroke lead, but Park, who was named Pac-12 player of the year last season, struggled early on.
Park recorded five straight bogies before finishing with a par on eighteen.
The Women of Troy took home their first trophy of the year with a seven stroke lead. USC will continue to defend its NCAA title in two weeks as the team travels to New Orleans.
