USC Men's Water Polo Prepares for NorCal Classic

Senior driver Marc Vondereidt discussed why teams are sleeping on the No. 2 Trojans and their ability to stay focused.

The No. 2 USC men's water polo team (8-0) has been dominate throughout the early part of the season, outscoring opponents 170-37 during its two tournaments, including a 10-3 victory over No. 5 Pacific. The Trojans have their eyes set on capturing a seventh-straight national championship and senior driver Marc Vonderweidt talks about the team continuing to drive themselves, even with all the previous success the have accomplished.

USC will next be in action on Saturday when the team jumps in the pool at the Kap7 NorCal Classic that includes six top-15 teams in Stockton, California. The Trojans will face off in a first round matchup against Air Force at 10:40 a.m.
