ATVN Exclusive: Keyshawn Johnson
Former USC football wide receiver and 3x NFL Pro Bowler Keyshawn Johnson talked to ATVN's Connor McGlynn about the Trojans' 2014 campaign and what needs to happen in order to develop the vast amount of young players on the roster. Johnson also discussed the ongoing debate over whether college athletes should receive money for their play.
Johnson played his junior and senior seasons at USC, tallying nearly 1,800 career yards. In his senior year, Johnson was named Player of the Game in the 1996 Rose Bowl when he set a Rose Bowl record for 216 receiving yards while helping the Trojans beat the Northwestern Wildcats 41-32.
Johnson was selected with the first overall pick in the 1996 NFL Draft by the Ney York Jets and played 11 years in the league. The wide receiver out of Dorsey High School in Los Angeles played for four different teams, including Super Bowl XXXVII champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Johnson is now an NFL analyst for ESPN on NFL Countdown.
