Anti-Semitism Found on Emory University Campus
The Alpha Epsilon Pi fraternity at Emory University in Georgia was the victim of a hate crime on Sunday morning.
Vandals spray painted swastikas and other symbols on the fraternity house after the end of one of the Jewish holidays, Yom Kippur.
AEPI's National Spokesperson, Jonathan Pierce said, "It's a really hard thing to deal with as a college student, really as anybody, so we've had alumni and staff there working with the guys to make sure that they are able to continue to go to school and feel as safe as possible."
The fraternity has been around since 1913 and was established at Emory University since 1920.
According to its website, the purpose of the fraternity, which has 93,000 members nationwide, is to provide students with "a Jewish organization whos4e purpose is not specifically religious but rather social and cultural in nature."
