No. 2 USC Water Polo Battles No. 3 UCLA
The No. 2 USC men's water polo team (18-3, 3-1) defeated Pacific 11-6 Saturday in a rematch of the 2013 NCAA National Championship game. Coming off of the big win, the Trojans will continue their quest against tough opponents as they welcome the No. 3 UCLA Bruins in a crosstown rivalry Sunday. The two teams have split the season series so far with one win a piece, but the Cardinal and Gold have the overall goal advantage at 17-15. With both games being rather low scoring, the Trojans emphasized that defense will be crucial in the contest.
The Bruins will travel to the confines of the Uytengsu Aquatics Center Sunday for a 7:00 p.m. clash of top-ranked foes.
