No. 4 USC Water Polo Swims Past No. 5 UCSB

The Tojans dominated the Gauchos, 14-5, in their home-opener at the Uytengsu Aquatics Center.

The No. 4 USC Men's Water Polo team took to the pool today at the Uytengsu Aquatics Center in a convincing 14-5 win over the No. 5 UCSB Gauchos in a home-opener. Senior Kostas Genidounias led the Trojans with three goals in the win moving him into second in career goals at USC. Freshman goalie MaQuin Baron recorded 12 saves in the win. True freshman Grant Stein had two goals for the trojans while nine other players contributed to the Cardinal and Gold's cause.

Stein discussed his team's play against the Gauchos, his goaltender's performance and looked ahead at the next task.

USC will be back in the pool in Westwood, California next weekend to take part in the SoCal Tournament.
