USC Finishes Fall Season with Gifford Championships

The USC men's golf team rounded out its fall season Wednesday with a second-place finish at the Gifford Collegiate Championship in San Martin, California. Senior Paul Smith placed a career-best third place, shooting a final-round 66.

The Trojans registered top-two finishes in four of their five outings this fall. The Cardinal and Gold now awaits a rest period before setting off for Hawaii to play in the Ameri Ari Invitational Feb. 5.
