Women of Troy Beat Down Bruins in Finale

No. 14 USC women's swimming and diving captures eighth-straight over No. 17 UCLA.

The No. 14 USC women's swimming and diving team wrapped up its regular season in grand-style Friday with a 174.5-125.5 victory over crosstown rival No. 17 UCLA at the Uytengsu Aquatics Center. In the Women of Troy's eighth-straight win over the Bruins, five different swimmers claimed the top spot in two different events, including shattering eight pool records.

With the regular season under wraps, USC looks ahead to the PAC-12 Championships in Federal Way, Washington beginning Wednesday. Members of the Women of Troy are eager to make the trip up the coast and continue their impressive performance. USC hops into the pool for the first time at the Championships Wednesday with finals being raced on Saturday.
