Women of Troy Look for UCI Invitational Three-Peat

The No. 3 USC women's water polo team (10-0) looks to follow up an impressive performance at the Lancer Invitational, where the team outscored its four opponents by a total of 106-9, as it travels to Irvine, California to take part in the UCI Invitational. The Women of Troy will face a tougher pool of opponents this tournament, as the bracket is filled with programs such as No. 6 Arizona State and No. 10 San Diego State University, amongst 14 other top-20 teams.

Despite having such strong success early in the year, senior captain Eike Daube is confident that the team will not drop its level of competition and is poised to take on some of the nation's toughest tasks. The Women of Troy will begin their quest for a third-straight UCI Invitational title as they jump in the pool against No. 18 UC Santa Barbara at 10:30 Saturday.
