Pat Haden Almost Collapses Before Notre Dame Game

USC Athletic Director Pat Haden had to be helped off of the USC vs. ND sideline after almost collapsing before the game.

At the close of a trying week for the USC Football team, athletic director Pat Haden appeared to have a health challenge of his own on Saturday. Haden was on the USC sideline prior to kickoff when he dropped to his knee, feeling light-headed. After being taken to the locker room for further evaluation he appeared to be stable and sitting up.

USC Sports Information Director Tim Tessalone gave light to the situation saying, "During pregame Pat said he felt light-headed, took a knee and then went into the locker room and is being looked at by our doctors." Though Haden did not return to the sideline, Tessalone noted that after stopping by a local hospital, everything checked out fine.

Haden looked to be in good spirits on Sunday as he took to Twitter saying he was feeling fine.
