USC Football Falls To The Fighting Irish

Capping off a tough week for the USC Football team, the Men of Troy could not hold off the Irish in South Bend.

The USC Football team was dealt a heartbreaking loss on the road as they fell to the No. 11 University of Notre Dame on Saturday night. The Fighting Irish rallied for 17 unanswered points in the second half to beat the Trojans 41-31. Though the Trojans had great momentum going into the second half, they could not translate that momentum to scoring drives. Quarterback Cody Kessler threw for two touchdowns and ran for a third, but his two interceptions late in the fourth quarter put the game away.

Now the Men of Troy will have to refocus as they head into Pac-12 play at home this weekend. USC will host No. 3 Utah on Saturday to cap off Trojan Family Weekend.
