Alexa Liacko

Class of 2015, Bachelor's



Alexa Liacko is a senior at USC's Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism. She is majoring in Broadcast Journalism with a minor in Global Communication and a Progressive Master's degree in Communication Management. She is currently a producer and is training to be on next year's staff of Executive Producers. She has anchored ATVN's newscast and is a multimedia journalist reporter as well. She has also been a weather anchor and has worked for the web department. 

This past fall, Alexa interned for ABC 7 Eyewitness News in Los Angeles with Healthy Living reporter Denise Dador. Over the summer, Alexa interned for KTLA 5 Morning News as a Producer's intern. There she managed web content, pitched segment ideas, wrote lead ins and was responsible for a newsletter for over 20,000 subscribers. She has also interned for KABC Radio Los Angeles FOX News in Honolulu, Hawaii where she reported on local news and created packages and wrote for each of the broadcasts.
