Moving Forward

I've been at USC for almost four years now, and I am continuously amazed by the innovative developments that our program consistently undergoes. In my four years at ATVN I have seen so many changes and advancements in the technology we use, and the ways in which we integrate growing media outlets into our newscasts.

However, the potential for even more innovative techniques in the producing of our newscast is always growing. There are many things that I think could be integrated into our show that the program would benefit from.

First, I think that the way we have continued to improve our presence on social media has only helped to expand our viewership. I would be interested to see if we could integrate our ability to use live feeds and social media into one feature. I would love to see a live Q&A to get the audience more involved with our show.

I think it could be beneficial to our interviews to get guests to be more interactive than just sitting on a couch answering questions. I would like to have a guest demonstrate a skill or do something with the anchors. I also would like to try to utilize our ability to do live shots to try to live stream events at USC or live interview people for stories.
