Selena Gomez, 19, received a death threat from a stalker so serious that LAPD's Threat Management Unit is investigating the case, TMZ reported Monday. Gomez has filed a restraining order against the stalker, according to court files.
The threat came from Thomas Brodincki, 46, who told his psychiatrist he planned to kill Gomez. He also told her he traveled from Chicago to Los Angeles to meet her, and visited the place where she works three times.
According to TMZ, Gomez is in "extreme fear" and believes he will kill her if he isn't stopped. LAPD is taking the threat seriously and investigating the case.
Brodincki reportedly has a criminal history of stalking, and revealed his plan to kill Gomez during a mental evaluation.
