Obama Takes to Tumblr for 2012
President Obama is taking the internet by storm yet again for his 2012 campaign, joining Tumblr to provide his constituents with updates and a "huge collaborative storytelling effort," the first post says.

The new blog was launched on Monday and contains a submission feature, where users can submit questions, tell stories, and upload photos that pertain to the campaign.
The latest update talks about Obama's visit to Las Vegas, when he told Republicans about his jobs plan and encouraged them to act quickly to solve problems.
"Without a doubt, the most urgent challenge that we face right now is getting our economy to grow faster and create more jobs," the President said. "What people don't understand, though, is why some elected officials don't seem to share the same sense of urgency that people all around the country [feel]."
The blog's first post says that the goal is to create a place "for people across the country to share what's going on in our respective corners of it and how we're getting involved in the campaign to keep making it better."
The campaign team even acknowledges the possibility of trolls visiting the site.
"There will be trolls among you--this we know," the first post reads. "We ask only that you remember that we're people--fairly nice ones--and that your mother would want you to be polite."
