Occupy Wall Street Inspires New Android App
Occupy Wall Street, a grassroots movement protesting the greed and injustice of Wall Street officials, has not only inspired people across the U.S. to join the cause, but also mobile technology.

Android released a new free app called "I'm Getting Arrested" last week in response to an Occupy Wall Street incident, according to the app's description. The app allows people to quickly send an SMS message to friends, family and lawyers about their activities and whether they have been arrested.
The app got a 4.5 out of five rating on the Android Market website. However, a mobile app reviewer from CNET.com, Jaymar Caebe, questions why the app has garnered so little Facebook and Twitter attention, which he says would significantly increase the amount of app users and gather more unified support after individual arrests.
Quadrant 2 Inc. developed "I'm Getting Arrested", which requires software from Androids 1.6 and up.
